Doing business in the Milwaukee area since the 1800's, we are recognized as one of the oldest family owned and operated sporting goods stores in the nation. Charles Burghardt opened a small stationary and book store in downtown Milwaukee in 1881. As Milwaukee's population grew with the influx of immigrants from Germany and Poland, there was a demand for stationary and a new demand for school supplies. Charles Burghardt recognized an opportunity to expand into physical education supplies for schools and later, sports equipment. With an emphasis on excellent customer service, Charles Burghardt set into motion what would become his families work for years to come. Over 130 years and five generations later, Burghardt Sporting Goods has carved a niche as Milwaukee’s premier sporting equipment and apparel supplier. While we since have focused on being one of the elite independent sporting goods stores in the nation, we have expanded our brand to include a full-service custom uniform department and print shop, which has allowed us to stay connected to local schools by providing uniforms, spirit wear and equipment, just as Charles Burghardt first intended. ONLINE TEAM AND SPIRIT WEAR ORDERING This new service brings ease to ordering spirit wear, through an online website customized specifically for your school. We will: • • • • Discuss the apparel and accessory options you have and help you decide what to feature on your site. Design custom logos, representing your school or sport, to feature on your spirit wear site. Take all orders and collect all money electronically, via your online site. Individually sort all apparel for ease of distribution, allowing you to delivery items quickly. RUSH CHARGE: 1-2 Business days—20% of total order, $50 min; 3-4 Business days—10% of total order, $25 min. ARTWORK SUBMISSION – all artwork should be submitted as either a pdf ,eps or AI vectorized file. • Artwork Charge for non-vector art---$25/hr ARTWORK APPROVAL – your artwork proof will be emailed to the email address you provide us, typically within 72 business hours of order placement. Your order will be on hold pending your response. Please reply via email with your approval or edits with 24 hours to meet the requested due date. Failure to do so may result in a delay. *Please review artwork carefully; checking for ERRORS, MISSPELLINGS, CORRECT SIZE, LOCATION and INK COLORS. SET UP FEES • • • • • • Screen Charge for new screens per color/location-- $15.00 Color Washes for screens-- $7/color Set up charge for new orders less than 12 pieces--$25 Set up charge for fill in orders less than 6 pieces--$10/screen Artwork Charge for non-vector art---$25/hr Embroidery – tape digitization – typically $40-$60 for Left Chest Logo, varies depending on stitch count REORDER /FILL INS -Once an order has been submitted, any additional pieces requested will be considered a new order. All reorders need to be a minimum of six pieces and pricing will be based on new quantity ordered. It is highly encouraged to add a couple of pieces to your most common sizes in the event another piece is required (i.e. adding an additional player to a team, player losing a garment, possible damage to garment by player.) NAMES AND NUMBERS – All names and numbers must be typed out and legible. Handwritten names and/or numbers will not be accepted. You can download a “name and number” file from www.burghardtsportinggoods.com and email it to your Team Sales Representative. SUPPLIED GARMENTS – Burghardt Sporting Goods will print supplied garments at double our standard print rates, however will not accept responsibility for replacement if damaged. SCREEN PRINTING/EMBROIDERY PRICING – All prices are subject to change without notice. The customer will always be notified before proceeding with the order. BILLING – All orders require a 50% non-refundable down payment at the time of order with the balance due upon order completion. This does not apply to accounts with charging privileges. CANCELLATION OF ORDER – If product has shipped from the vendor but is not yet printed or embroidered, there will be a 15% restocking fee. If an order has already been printed or embroidered, the order may not be cancelled. GARMENT SIZING -We highly recommend that you request sizing samples two weeks prior to your group sizing meeting to ensure you can ensure properly size your order. Samples will be invoiced upon pick up and credited upon return. We will not take back garments once they are printed or embroidered. WASHING CONDITIONS – to make sure the print and embroidery last longer, do not wash with bleach. Keep garments out of the dryer. Dryer heat may melt ink. For best results, turn garments inside out before washing to prevent damage to the imprint or embroidery and allow garment to air dry. ONLINE SPIRITWEAR SETUP
