Bachelor in Business Administration Located on the Paradise Valley Community College Campus We’re everywhere you want to learn!  Choose from the following emphasis areas: Management, Entrepreneurship & Small Business, Global Management, or Logistics and Supply Chain Management.  Students only attend class twice a week for a full-time schedule or once a week with a part-time schedule. Program Admission Requirements An Associate of Business (ABUS) and AGEC completed at an Arizona community college guarantees admission to the BBA program. Students without a posted ABUS must have the prerequisite courses completed prior to enrolling in the BBA courses. Please use the chart below to assist you in determining program prerequisites and equivalent courses. Program Admission Statuses Full Admission: All BBA prerequisites have been completed. Conditional Admission: Students may be conditionally admitted to the program if they have completed at least 8 of the 10 prerequisite courses, with both English classes and at least one of the mathematics courses (equivalent to MAT 119 or MAT 131) completed. Conditional admission is valid only for the first semester of BBA coursework. Students are not permitted to progress in the BBA coursework until proof of prerequisite completion has been submitted. Not Yet Eligible: More than 2 of the BBA prerequisites are in progress or not yet completed. Students not yet admitted to NAU will also receive a “Not Yet Eligible” letter. Updating Program Admission Status If you are assigned “Not Yet Eligible” or “Conditional” status upon review of your program application; you will need to submit unofficial transcripts to the advisement team each semester as you make progress toward meeting the BBA program admission requirements. Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC) The AGEC helps with university admission and satisfies NAU's Liberal Studies and Diversity Requirements. The AGEC is embedded in the ABUS. When you apply for graduation be sure to request that the ABUS and AGEC are both awarded. Transferring to Flagstaff This program is not offered on the main campus in Flagstaff. This is an Extended Campus degree managed by the NAU-Yuma branch campus. Students wishing to transfer from a community college to Flagstaff should speak with a program advisor from the W.A. Franke College of Business located in Flagstaff. Financial Aid Financial aid is available for this program. Tuition Rates NAU has one of the most affordable tuition rates in Arizona and the nation, and Extended Campus students often pay slightly less in tuition than those attending the campus in Flagstaff! BAS, BAIS, and BSIS students may substitute BBA 290 and BBA 291 for ACC 255. These courses satisfy both the required and the recommended prerequisites for students in the BAS, BAIS, and BSIS Administration and the BAS Technology Management programs. Letter grade only.
